1. Who processes your data

The data controller is CHARLTON WESTMONT S.R.L., tax ID 54666254, Trade Registry no. J2026031094001, with its registered office at 9 Haltei Street, Apt. 1, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Harghita County, Romania.

2. What we collect

Through the enquiry form, we collect your name, company, email, telephone number and enquiry topic, plus optional information about consumption, contracts or energy investments. If you attach a document, we also process its contents, such as names, addresses, consumption-point identifiers or contractual information in invoices and contracts. Send only documents needed for your enquiry.

Contact details are emailed when you continue to the final step; optional information and the document are emailed on final submission. Documents are not saved in a file store operated by us. A form draft is kept in your browser for up to 24 hours; the attachment is not included, and the contact agreement must be selected again when resuming.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

We use the data solely to answer your enquiry, assess the commercial need and prepare an advisory conversation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: processing is necessary to take the steps you request before potentially entering into a contract.

Selecting the checkbox expresses your agreement to be contacted by Charlton Westmont about your enquiry. It is not consent to marketing. We do not use enquiry data for promotional communications without separate consent.

4. Who receives it

Data may be accessed only by authorised personnel and the infrastructure, hosting or email providers that help us manage the enquiry, subject to contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes the form in the current configuration; Vercel may process enquiries on versions hosted on its platform. Resend delivers email notifications, including the attachment, to the company’s contact address. Data and documents therefore also reach the email service used by the company. We do not sell your data or disclose it to energy suppliers without your instruction or another applicable legal basis.

5. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for 24 months from the last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless a legal obligation requires a different period.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing where that right applies. To exercise your rights, email consulting@cwestmont.ro. You may also lodge a complaint with Romania’s National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site does not use analytics, advertising or non-essential cookies. If these are introduced, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before activation.

8. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect operational or legal changes. The current version and revision date are published on this page.
